• Account information: name, email address, and organization details you provide when purchasing a license or creating an account.
• Payment information: when you check out, payment is handled directly by Lemon Squeezy or PayPal — we never see or store your full card number. We receive limited transaction details (such as your email, order/capture ID, and plan purchased) needed to activate and manage your license.
• Customer Data: the inventory records, product catalogs, barcodes, counts, and related business data you enter into TagCount.
• Usage and device information: log data, device/browser type, and basic diagnostic information collected automatically when you use the Service, used to keep TagCount reliable and secure.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain TagCount, including license activation.
• To process payments and prevent fraud, in conjunction with Lemon Squeezy and PayPal.
• To communicate with you about your account, purchases, and support requests.
• To monitor, secure, and improve the reliability and performance of the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Payment processors (Lemon Squeezy, PayPal) to complete your purchase and manage licensing.
• Infrastructure and service providers (such as our hosting and database providers) who process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, solely to help us operate TagCount.
• Legal or safety reasons, where required to comply with the law, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the rights, property, or safety of CoreValley Technologies, our users, or others.

4. Data retention

We retain account and Customer Data for as long as your license is active. If your license is refunded, cancelled, or revoked, we may delete associated account and Customer Data, consistent with our Refund Policy — export anything you want to keep before requesting cancellation or a refund.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can request any of these by emailing Support@TagCount.app. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and core functionality (such as keeping you signed in). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
